The Dance of the Mouseketeer

Details- Here we have a a fantastic dance costume from the 1950s. It features a black satin one piece with sequined straps and an attached double layered tulle skirt with a zig zag band of sequins around where the bodice and skirt are attached. The tulle skirt, with one layer being black and the other cream is full and sheer. It zips to be form fitted exactly like a swimsuit of the era.

Normally, if a piece has a historical tie it will only be noted if there is provenance to back it up and it is then reflected in the price. While this piece has no provenance and its historical ties will not be reflected in the price, it would be a shame not to mention that this dance costume belonged to Karen Pendleton, one of the original Mouseketeers.
