1940s Mythological Fashion....
Design - This very unique 1940s sweater is truly amazing in both style and design. It features a fantastic Art Deco patterning with wheat stocks and the mythological creature the Griffin with it's serpeant tail, wings, talons and tell tale head. It is a bold pattern with its steel grey against a dark maroon. It has a ribbed collar, a wide, fitted, ribbed waist and ribbed cuffs. Mint condition.
Material - Maroon and Grey tight knit wool.
Maker - There is no makers mark, but it was expertly designed and woven.
