1940s cotton novelty print smock jacket, covered in juicy blueberries with flowers

A Blueberry Dreem...

Design - Here we have a fantastic cotton novelty print smock or jacket. During the era it was used as a house coat or maternity smock. It features a novelty print where clusters of large stylized blueberries, with their leaves and blossoms in toe, tumble across a pink background. A wide, point collar meets with three green vintage buttons up the front, leaving the rest of the front open. The sleeves are slightly gathered and puffed at the shoulders and are gathered, cuffed and buttoned at the wrist. One oversized pocket can be found on the right side. A truly darling novelty print piece.
