Design - Here we have a beautifully hand carved figure of Asian or Indonesian royalty from the 1930s in butterscotch bakelite with a resin overwash. An artist from the late 1930s and early 1940s made these one of a kind figures, several had this exquisite ornamentation. His face reveals a tranquil soul, while red and gold and turquoise headdress adorns his head along with a red and gold sash that goes around his neck and chest. A gorgeous one-of-a-kind bakelite brooch.
