Cognac brown 1940s Lace up cap toe work boots with original laces, Cat's Paw sole, Sz 9

A Cognac Brown Work Boot Dreem...

Design - Here we have a fantastic pair of rich, cognac brown cap toe work boots. They feature classic work boot styling with the cap toe and metal eye hooks for the laces. The stitching towards the back is unique in the way it makes a V shape instead of a curve. The construction both inside and outside of the boot is very high quality. A really desirable pair of vintage work boots.

Material - A richly patined cognac brown leather.

Maker - There is no makers mark for the boots only the "Cat's Paw - Won't Slip" logo on the bottom of the heel and some text on the leather sole which is mostly unreadable except for the "Steel Arch Supports".

Measurements

The only way to truly find a good fit in a vintage shoe is to go by the measurements of the shoe compared to the measurements of your foot or of a shoe you have that fits.

Closest to a size 9 US but please go by the measurements below.

Toe to Heel (not the insole) - 12"
Width - 4"
Heels - 1"
Shaft - 5 3/4" (From bottom of heel to top)

Condition - These boots are in great vintage condition. There is some wear and patina to the leather but the leather is supple, the laces are original. There is a pair of insoles that I would recommend removing. They come to you in clean, ready-to-wear vintage condition.
