Exceptional 1940s hand painted nude woman tie, champagne and maroon with stylized background

Design - Here we have an exceptional example of the 1940s nude or pin up ties. The style was brought back from the war front, where artists tried replicating the gorgeous girls they wantonly painted on fighter planes, leather jackets and other forms of trench art during the war. This tie features a nude in high-waisted panties with her arms pulling her hair up over her head in a very natural but sensual pose. an abstract stylized print is found on the champagne background, serving very well at making the figure stand out. the rest of the tie is in a maroon coloring with a viney pattern framing the woman.
