Gorgeous early Tony Lama boots with a 1940s patina!

Design - Here we have a gorgeous pair of very early 1940s two tone shorty cowboy boots made by Tony Lama. These boots are the coveted early black label and are black leather with a tan leather cutouts and white leather designed stitching. They also feature a point toe (the point toe introduced in 1941 and the striped cloth pulls help to date it to approximately 1941 before they changed the cloth pull to black) and green trim at the top of the boot. These early black label boots mean they were 100% hand made. A beautiful one of a kind boot.

Material - jet black leather with tan leather cutouts.

Maker - Black sewn in label "Tony Lama" made in El Paso

Measurements

The only way to truly find a good fit in a vintage shoe is to go by the measurements of the shoe compared to the measurements of your foot or of a shoe you have that fits.

Toe to Heel (not the insole) - 10 1/2" (but narrow fit so goes a 1/2 size down to a sz 6)
Width - 3 1/8"
Heels - 2"
Shaft - 11" (From bottom of heel to top)

Condition - These boots are in great vintage condition. They definitely show signs of use but are in really good shape for their age with no detrimental flaws. They come to you in clean, ready-to-wear vintage condition.

A classic piece of 1940s Western Americana footwear to add to your vintage wardrobe!
