Design - Here we have a beautiful example of a sweetheart ring, sent off with her sweetheart to wear and think of her often. This ring was made from sterling silver and bears the hallmark of Uncas Manufacturing Co. It was made during the late depression era, a time in which men often left home to follow a pay day wherever they could find one. Momentos like this would provide a temporary fix to a case of the homesick blues. This ring features Art Deco styling with a crisp image of a brown haired woman with bangs, dark lipstick and deep set eyes.

Material - Sterling silver, glass, old photograph.

Maker - Uncas marking with the line of arrows and a STERLING silver mark.
