Gorgeous 1930s peach silk moiré taffeta halter neck gown MED

She Dreems of Silk Moire at Dusk...

Design - Here we have a gorgeous 1930s peach colored, silk moiré taffeta gown. The exquisite moiré fabric is full of water marked and wood grain patterns throughout. The gown features a low cut at the bust that meets a somewhat fitted empire waist. Each strap in the front is adorned by small bows and they meet in elegant halter fashion at the back of the neck where they descend onto a low cut back in diagonal fashion to the top of the gowns bustier in back. the skirt of the gown is flowy and longer in the back and sides than the front, giving it that extra drama. A simple gown with a very elegant design so often found in evening wear of this era.

Material -silk taffeta moiré

Maker - There is no makers mark but this dress was exceptionally well designed and created.

*I wanted to note that my model is 32 x 28 for perspective on size and it was not pinned on her.

Bust- 18"
Waist - 14"
Length - 60"

Condition - This dress is in good condition but it does have one spot that is like a darkening of the peach color on the back of the skirt and can be seen in the photo of the full back of the gown. It comes to you in clean ready-to-wear condition.
